Howdy friends, welcome back. It's FRIDAY – you know what that means.
Mr. Nasty is back for a visit.
All dressed up – and nowhere to go, tee hee…
He keeps bugging me about a little road trip up to Canada!
My goodness, he and Madame Villaine have quite the thing going on don't they
It's about to get better, stay tuned.
On to our challenge this week which is
COLOR
But we get to pick one of the colors!
I chose Old Olive for my 4th color
and the stamp set FOR ALL YOU DO (page 118)
My designer paper is Cottage Wall, the polka dots in White and Old Olive
and, I was visiting Mary Jo's site, www.Technostamper.com,
she puts up sketch challenges each week, LOVE them, so decided to use it too.
OK, card base is 5-1/4 x 10-1/2, score and fold at 5-1/4 (top fold)
Designer paper is 4-1/4 square, sponged the edges in Old Olive
Matted to a piece of Elegant Eggplant, 4-3/8 square.
Don't tape these down!.
stamped the solid flower image in Elegant Eggplant on Whisper White
Stamped Sentiment in Old Olive
Punched all these out with the 1-1/4 square punch
Layered to Night of Navy punched with the 1-3/8 square punch
all of these are mounted to a 3 inch square of Old Olive.
tape all these down.
He does look rather handsome don't you think?
Ok, here is where I got derailed, I messed with Mary Jo's beautiful sketch!
I decided I wanted the stem down the left side
then I had to stamp and cut out a flower, and added a big piece of BLING in the center
Now, I can use it for the Late Night Stampers challenge this week too,,,,
Ok, so tape the designer paper to the mat, then put the brad for the flower through before you attach this to the card base. This hides the brad legs for you
and now I'm in serious trouble, I haven't taped any of this down…..
so, you know what is about to happen don't you?
well, I think it was worth listening to him go off…
Here is the finished card, I'm pretty happy with it.
and I ran over a whole minute.
Now, lets go see what my fabulously talented partner in crime,
Miss Carole'Anne is up to. She will have something totally FAB for us, I just know it, and don't forget to play along with all of us.
Carole'Anne has the Mr. Linky on her blog for the 10 minute challenge too.
Don't forget to leave a BLOG CANDY comment before you go visit her.
Thanks for stopping in and spending time with me today, I really appreciate that
Your TURN!

The card is gorgeous and absolutely worth the extra minute! What a great combination of colors – love it. I must admit that Mr. Nasty is looking very dashing and dapper. So debonair, I can see why Madame Villaine is enamoured of him. Sssshhh, don’t tell him, (you know, swelled head and all that) but I’m a little in love with him myself!

Another great card, Sandi. I love the way you used that stamp set, and the colors work great.
I love this page…I’ve had my eye on this stamp set for so long…the square with the flowers is so pretty! I love how you & Carole’Anne both added 2 different greens as your choice…both the light & darker green work so well! Purples & greens are my favorite colors! I was so excited to see the Cottage Wall paper from SU this year! Have a great day!
Wow, you outdid yourself if that is possible. I love it. Your color choice is great and the extras you added to the map really pop it. If Mr. Nasty gives you too much trouble just put a pillow over him or stick him in a drawer. That will show him. You and Carole’Anne really challenge me. Thanks for doing that. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I LOVE your card. The hand cut flower up the side if fabulous. Love your color selection of Old Olive. The whole card is so balanced, love those swiss dots. Excellent job.
Definitely worth the extra minute and the wait! I love this stamp set and the color combination is just stunning! And how dare Mr. Nasty go and blast at you after you dressed him up so purty! I suggest you dress him up as the Easter bunny if he keeps it up next week – that should teach him!
Question of the day: Is Carol’ Anne just your stampin “Sis” or your real “Sis” too? Can’t have any funny business between Mr. Nasty and Madame Villain if she’s your real sis!
Great job. Catch you later!
I love this card and I agree the extra minute made the card. I forgot about the set I recieved with my kit! Time to et it out and try this sketch. Thanks Sandi!!
Mr. Nasty may whine and ring and carry on but you get one gorgeous card. Ring on mad fool, ring on!
BTW, if Mr Nasty gets to see Madam Villain, then Tessa gets to see Jack!

Sandi, love your color combo and layout. The added flower just sets off the entire design. Fabulous!

Love it Sandi- looks great! Thanks for sharing!
That popped up flower is awesome! Love the colors and the sketch! So beautiful!
The flower with the bling adds just the perfect touch and it’s nice to have the focal point off center, I think. Very, very pretty!!
I love the card and colors!
wow, this is so pretty! I love how you off set the squares, I love the colors and the popped up flower. Beautiful job Sandi! Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch this week! Hope you can come back next week.
Love your card. The squares offset the lone flower on the left. Very attractive layout. It is interesting that you and Carole’Anne both chose green for your last color. You are closer to being sisters than you might think.
Beautiful card.
Fabulous card! Love the colours and the layout
Great card. I love seeing these challenges and what you and Carole Ann come up with! Thanks for sharing and the inspiration!
What a great card! You and Carole Ann always amaze me with what you come up with….and in a short time period. Love Mr. Nasty’s tie! Love how you added the flower~~it adds pizzazz and makes the card pop. Thanks for being an inspiration…and with humor!

Another great card Sandi, I love the colors especially using the dark color for the flower, a great change from the usual pastels or brights! TFS
