Hi stamping friends. I have had quite a few inquiries for a little tutorial on the Baby Buggy or Carriage cards from yesterday, so here you go.
Remember – I am not the creator of this design – and I'm very sorry, I don't know who is or I would give credit and link, I am just the creator of these buggies here.
fold a piece of 5-1/2 x 11 card stock in half. Place the fold at the top, with a few (5) scallops showing, on the Large scallop oval die. Run this through the Big Shot.
open the card, place the front side into the dots embossing folder, and run through the Big Shot Machine.
determine the center of your image, or just a little higher, and cut out the piece for the opening, about 5 scallops, I just marked this with a pencil, and used my scissor to cut this out
Looks like a Baby Pac-man – for those of you old enough to remember Pac-man, tee hee.
Next, I used scraps of whisper white about 1-1/4 wide, I punched one edge with the Scallop Edge punch, I attached the strips with snail, running off the end, then went back and trimmed from the back, this was easier than trying to line it up, cut it then tape it down (for me anyway).
do the same with the top, I lifted the bottom piece to tuck the end under it.
The Wheel is the 1-1/4 inch circle punch, the inside, and the spinner on the hood are the 1/2 inch circle.
I used silver brads to attach these to make them realistic looking.
on this one, I made the trim a little wider so I could add the little heart punch, I switched out the spinner piece for a bow, and used buttons on the wheels.
For the bib card, you are going to do exactly the same thing, but, when you cut the large scallop circle, move your folded piece down a little more,
Next, put the folded part into your Wide Oval punch, and punch.
I decorated the front by using the medium scallop circle die, then the circle punches.
Hope that helps all you friends who asked for a tutorial, and have fun, they are really fun to make and even more fun to embellish, and hey, I think they would qualify for the 10 minute card!, tee hee.
Thanks for stopping in my friends, happy stamping and baby carriages!.

Thank you soooo much for this great tutorial Sandi! I will definitely give these cuties a try.
I really like the way we can manipulate the CS to make the folds with the Big Shot. There are endless possibilities. These beauties are just two examples. Very Cute.
Thank you so much for making this tutorial. I was trying to make one but hadn’t quite figured out the easiest way to put on the bunting pretties. Thanks for sharing your special tips. Have a wonderful time on Saturday. I envy all the people that will get to see you.
