Howdy stampers, happy Friday, you know what that means.
10 MINUTES OR LESS CARDS WITH CAROLE'ANNE AND SANDI
This week, we have a color challenge
I cut this picture out of the newspaper this past weekend, an ad for rugs and wall art, I thought the top one was pretty cool, all in circles,,,,,gave me a little idea!
Out came the CIRCLE CIRCUS stamp set
First we have to set up Mr. Nasty…..
Oh yes, he has another little message for Madame Vilaine!
My goodness, they are getting so mooshy- A new side to Mr. Nasty I have not seen before!
Ok, back to the task at hand….
and might I remind you – you promised I would win this week!.
so, I took 5 of the circles that I know fit into our round punches,
the scalloped circle
1-3/4 circle
1-1/4 circle
1 inch circle
3/4 inch circle.
I embossed them all with Black Embossing powder and Heat set them, then punched them out.
My card is 5 x 10 in Bermuda Bay, scored and folded at 5
on top is a piece of Kraft, 4-3/4 square, and I used the scalloped edge punch on it
and you would know that, if I had not cut it out of the picture – sorry!
I added a sentiment from Fundamental Phrases
ah,,,there are the scallops, and now you get a peek a boo of
my top piece, which is 4-1/2 x 4-1/4 Crushed Curry,
I embossed it with the Big Shot and a Texturz Plate,
after I brayered some Crushed curry ink on the plate.
and I hurried so much – I forgot to take a picture of that…
(it's the cold – dead brain cells, I tell you), tee hee.
oh yah, and there is 16 inches of the 1/2 inch Polka dot Grosgrain Ribbon, also in Bermuda Bay and yep, I cut that out of the picture too…..what a week!.
Here is Mr. Nasty one more time, and this is to the GOOD side,
he did let me win today…whoo hooo.
here is the front of my card, I layered some of the circles, and the layered ones also have dimensionals behind them to raise them up and add depth to the card.
and after I was finished, I went back and added a little bling to the inside.
and here is little Miss Lucy, laying on the bed, minding her own business, helping me stamp.
and ZOOM – here she is getting run over by Oscar the Terrible,
followed closely (and also cut out of the picture), by Jack.
they are having so much fun playing these days.
I'm so sorry for so many bad pictures today, I'll do better.
Oh yah, guess what else we did today? CUT THE GRASS, Weeded a couple of flower gardens and even moved some plants around. Beautiful sunny day, above 60……we went out and enjoyed it. The kids were just zoomies in the back yard, running under and around everything……crazy!….
Ok, leave me a comment won't you, then it is off to visit
our oh so talented friend CaroleAnne to see what she did with this color challenge.
and don't forget, you can play along too, create your card, and zip on over to Carole'Anne's blog and upload it into Mr. Linky, easy peassy!
Thanks so much for
visiting, have a safe and happy weekend

Oh my – so much laughing over such a beautiful card. You and your amourous Mr. Nasty are too much fun!
Thanks for sharing your talent AND for the entertainment!
love the color combo … I going to try this one later today! Great card!
Great card! I don’t think I’ve ever made a card in 10 minutes. I am way to indecisive about things to only take 10 minutes. LOL!
Hello Sis
looks like you have better control of Mister Nasty then I have of Madame Villaine
he he
goodness this is a GREAT 10 min card
you have done an OUTSTANDING job
I so lucky to have you as my partner
at least YOU can lead by example
me on the other hand
I suck LOL
See why you are my idol
and further to that
I would of never got this stamp set
but good golly miss molly NOW I think I may have to obtain this set, cause it’s sooooooooooooo cute on your card
and you played with these colours so wonderfully well!
YOU rock sis
take care of YOU
hug to you and to all your furry animals
they are sooooooooooo Adorable
he he
I taught Max to shake a paw and Goldie is just an old pro and I think she thinks we are CRAZY LOL
Brayer the texturz plate! What an ingenious idea! I’m going to try that. Love your card and your entertaining comments. I think it’s amazing that you can get so many pictures.

I LOVE this card! What a fantastic job you’ve done and in less than 10 minutes! You are the Queen. Cause the Lord knows I would have spent an hour picking out paper, then the stamps, then the layout and the bottom line – it would look nothing like what I had planned – LOL! Who knew you could do something so wonderful with circles? And I am really loving the colors you’ve chosen.
Your Corgis are just so adorable – I just want to gobble them up, figuratively speaking – LOL!

Pix two had me rolling on the floor. Poor Lucy, one ear up and one ear down. She’s saying “Mom, make Oscar the Terrible stop running over me!”
Thanks to you I have to go dig my brayer out from under who knows what! Is the stamp set inb the big catalog? I don’t remember ever seeing it.
Sharon L and Tessa
I always enjoy your 10 min. lesson and your great ideas. Thanks alot!
The crushed curry really pops against the soft suede. Very cute card. Love the pics of your pups, too. I’m envious about your weather. I can’t wait for spring!
I wouldn’t think of using these colors – but they work well together. I may have to try the combo. I should also try 10 minutes! Mr. Nasty is fun to watch – as you do it. Not sure I would like it.
Sandi: I cannot say enough about how much I enjoy your postings. You write like you are talking to me. I have to laugh on your continuing competition with Mr. Nasty and of course love all your pictures on your “kids”. Keep up the good work. Karen
I still have NO idea how you manage to come up with a card in only 10 minutes…it takes me at least that long to shovel off a spot to work! Great card and I’m glad that you’ve had some decent weather….we had “spring like” weather today, up into the 50′s and sunny, some of the snow has even melted!
Jan
Loved your card, nice color combo. Didn’t like the soft suede at first but it is growing on me. Wish we had your weather. Doing Girl Scout cookie booths in 19 degree weather sucks. Suppose to be in the 30′s for our next booth sale. Hope so. Love your corgis; they are so cute. You get to feeling better soon.
