I'm a Huge fan of air balloons and have been up in them many times, combine that with the beautiful vintage feel of this new suite, and it's a winner for sure…(wait till you see the stamp set(s) that go with it)…..oh, I'm such a tease, haha….

Card Recipe:

Word Play Stamp Set

Markers, Cherry Cobbler, Island Indigo and Soft Suede to color and stamp the WORD PLAY Sentiment (w) #120308 and (c) #120651 sentiment on Whisper White, I then punched it out with the 2-1/2" Circle Punch #120906  Mounted this to a 3" circle of Island Indigo, cut with the 3" Circle Die#122125

The designer paper under that is 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" and matted to a Calypso Coral piece 2-7/8" x 3-7/8"

The Yellow flag piece across the top is 1" x 4" and I flag tailed each end using my 1-14" Square Punch #119865

Card Base is Cherry Cobbler, 4-1/4" x 11" – score and fold at 5-1/2"  designer paper 4" x 5-1/4"

I cut a second red arrow out and layered it on the sentiment piece with Dimensionals, I also cut out the balloons that are on the sentiment, from the designer paper, and that little blue flag up top on top of the yellow flag….say hello to a new framelit, one of three in a little set called Bitty Banners….You are so going to love this little set…..You know me, I'm a fool for anything that goes through my BIGSHOT!….

I used a few stamp sets to create this little guy, COUNTRYSIDE for the truck stamped in Soft Suede, TEENY TINY WISHES for the sentiment, ESTABLISHED ELEGANCE for the flourish in the bottom left corner and the "established 1873" just below the truck (embossed in gold).  The ribbon is a piece of Artichoke Denim that I distressed with my scissors.  I used the WORD WINDOW PUNCH AND MODERN LABEL PUNCH to create the sentiment and added a few METALLIC BRADS.  I distressed the WELL WORN DESIGNER PAPER with the Distressing Tool from my CUTTER KIT (retiring), before I attached the pieces to my card, I also sponged the torn edges with Soft Suede.

As you can see for my art piece, I also used a light design piece from the WELL WORN DESIGNER PAPER and stamped right onto it, I thought that gave it a cool dimension.

Here is my first card!.

As you can see I had a little fun, tee hee, let me point out a few things….  The card Base is Pacific Point.  I used the new IN-Color MIDNIGHT MUSE to roll the ALHAMBRA WHEEL in the background…

Next I had a little fun with another Sneak Peek we demonstrators were allowed to order on the first…..a new big shot die, called OVAL ACCENT, isn't it pretty?  I added a bit of the new INTERNATIONAL BAZAAR DESIGNER PAPER along the bottom, and over that I added a little piece of the GUMBALL GREEN 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, and another gift from Stampin Up – check out that little PRIMROSE PETALS colored Dahlia embellishment...darling little flowers, I'm using them on everything right now, haha……

So, I had so much fun playing with this stamp set, I decided to do another card.  The Peacock stamp is one of 4 in this set, and here is another.

As you can see, there is a flower stamp in this set as well.  The Sentiment is from FRIENDLY PHRASES and this time, I want to point out the second NEW RIBBON…check that little strip of SUMMER STARFRUIT1/4" STITCHED GROSGRAIN RIBBON – coming out in 10 COLORS...can you stand it!….(also part of my upcoming share!).  and, I cased this card layout from the new catalog too!…There are some amazing design ideas in the new catalog you are going to love to case them yourself..

This new set has Six stamps, this card uses 4 of them.

The Raspberry Ripple and Primrose Petals are not showing up well in this picture, they are actually lighter, my camera did something funky with them!…sorry about that……..

Here are the other two stamps from the BETSY'S BLOSSOMS STAMP SET, and another "in color", MIDNIGHT MUSE…you might also notice the ribbon, MIDNIGHT MUSE – 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon – isn't it pretty?  and it ties like a dream, makes beautiful bows too!..and will be included in my upcoming New Catalog Share….

This is the China and there is a whole dragon in this pond, but I had to take a picture of his head, and back, which is all pineapple plants, way to funny!….This was another exceptional exhibit, very moving.

the Panda bear display was amazing!….so cute

and another Disney Moving I loved as a child, Lady and the Tramp, they did an awesome job of this one!.

so, this is our last evening, the event tonight was amazing, I have pictures, but, we travel tomorrow, so I have to get to bed, so I'll catch you on the flipside, back in Portland, and I'll share more of this amazing adventure, and more swaps….and my preorder will be sitting at home waiting for me, so I'll get the laundry on the go and break into some of this new stuff so I can share it with you real soon.

….isn't it beautiful! – there are two rooms like this, I keep forgetting to take a picture of the other one, because I GET SO EXITED every time I walk in there, LOL….there is a wheel in there and we get to spin it every day for a gift, there is also a whole wall of swaps made by all the demonstrators who earned this trip….and there are always other demonstrators there to meet too…

check out the centerpieces on the tables in the dining room, too cute!

today we went to the magic kingdom.  Ian and I have always wanted to see this because this was the original part of Disney and the big castle was always on the Sunday evening Disney snow we watched as kids, and Ian wanted to take the train that went through the hotel….sadly it was broken down while we were there.  We did take the little train to the back of the park and worked our way forward, and I'll show you in a couple of pictures why!…isn't the park beautiful!

Pooh's house.  This was my favorite childhood story, I loved all the characters, and it was so fun to see them all here

There was a Mickey Parade with great music, we were all dancing in the streets!

got a little closer to that castle, lol…

Remember when I said I would tell you why we went to the back of the park first!…this was the park about an hour later, you could hardly move!….in the center, my favorite statue, Walt Disney with Mickey….I love what it stands for!….what a vision.

Ok, on to some cards how about.  And I'm very sorry, but I can't show you my pillow gift today…..because it's all new stamping stuff from the new catalog, SQUEAL, did you hear me when I opened it, haha….new stamp set……matching wheel, matching designer paper, and remember I talked the other day about the beautiful letterpress plate that retired, and I thought they did something with the design……they did!.  not allowed to say more, sorry!.  Also got matching ribbon and brads, I seriously can not believe how Stampin Up Spoils us, they are the best.!…

is this not the cutest little box you ever saw?  I'm wondering if the pink flowers are a new punch?

ok, this one just totally messed with me.  Let's start with the doily, which is cut out of some beautiful shimmery thin white paper of some kind.  how about that big letter "F"  new alphabet dies?  Perhaps?  I already know the secret about the tag!  Got to preorder those yesterday too…. and there is that flower again, and it's very nicely cut out, I'm thinking punch here!…

Ok, I have to and get cleaned up.  tonight is our big meeting, starts at 9.  We have swaps, etc., and a bunch of wow projects so I'll have a pile more pictures to share with you, and if you hear a really crazy noise about 11, that means they gave us all the catalog……it will be nuts I'm sure!…tee hee….

I'm so Excited, I can hardly stand it…..you have to earn a Stampin Up Incentive trip, so you can have this much fun!.
