Many of you know, my friend Shelagh is visiting from Canada, it was her birthday on the 7th, and Ian’s birthday on the 12, so we have been having birthday parties all of the place, but we have been playing too and I have a little “crayon” adventure to share with you today.
I found this idea on PINTEREST. Love to visit and see what others create, it inspires me.
May I introduce my friend Shelagh, you may remember her last visit where we stenciled tee-shirts, LOL,,,we like getting dirty! and creating!
we started with a canvas each, ours are 18 x 24 I think, and 2 big boxes of crayons
we covered our tables with garbage bags, sorted our crayons in the order we wanted them, and the glue guns are heating up! – WHOO HOOOOO….
you know I love NOTHING BETTER THEN A CREATIVE MESS! – AND THIS IS SO MUCH MORE FUN WITH A FRIEND.
You hot glue each crayon on. I found it easier to put the glue on the canvas…this took about 10 minutes
Pretty little babies all in a row!…now the fun begins,
LADIES, START YOUR HEAT GUNS!….(the original instructions said they used their hair dryers, I’m thinking these people were not stampers, because, my embossing heat tool gets way hotter)!
you can really manipulate the wax by holding the heat tool closer, or on an angle,
To finish it, we got out some grungeboard letters, painted them black and glued them on to our art.
My goodness, this was so much fun, I hope you will give it a try too.
Wait till you see what we did before this, we had 2 big creative projects all before noon!…
I gotta go, it’s Journal class here today and I have to vacuum up the hair balls and make lunch!…..toodles, thanks so much for dropping in today.
Hugs and Happy Stamping!
