Hello my stamping friends, happy Friday!
You know what that means
- Carole'Anne and Sandi's 10 minute or less challenge.
Our amazing Carole'Anne drew this sketch with her Digital Studio program
She is very amazing with this program by the way!
I love this sketch, nice and clean
Ok, so here is what I did with it.
Got "you know who" all geared up.
The Designer paper is from Welcome Neighbor - Free with a $50. purchase during Sale-a-bration,
The stamp set – matches the paper (now Imagine that!), LOL – GOOD NEIGHBORS, also Free with a $50. purchase during Sale-a-bration.
I added Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Whisper White
I stamped the house and 2 trees on scraps of Whisper White
Punched them out with the 1-1/4 square punch
I punched 3 1-3/8 squares in Old Olive to mat.
Mr. Nasty is very quiet this week, he received a message from Madame Villaine,
Mr. Nasty, j'aimerais bien de donner un petit bec!!
But he does not speak french, so he knows not what this says – Can anyone help the poor little guy out?????
I cut my designer paper to 3-7/8 x 5-1/8
Matted that to Old Olive 4 x 5-1/4
Tied a 16 inch piece of 5/8 Satin Ribbon around this,
attached all of this to my card which is Melon Mambo 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 top fold.
I used Teeny Tiny Wishes to add a little sentiment
added dimensionals to the back of all of them
(I cut my dimensionals in half. Still does the job – but I have twice as many).
I'm thrifty – a nice word for "cheap!, lol…
still doing well, my card is all together
just one more decision, HMMMMMMMM
which buttons to use, the Designer Buttons Playground have lots of cool colors and shapes.
and here you go. The yellow buttons won. They are actually More Mustard, and the yellow in the DSP is Curry, but they were close enough. It was the only color I had not used, so I thought I should incorporate it in there somewhere.
There you go. Using punches really speeds up your card making, and I finished on time.
Thank you so much for visiting, leave me a comment won't you, then head on over to Miss Carole'Anne's blog to see what amazingly wonderful creation she cooked up in 10 minutes.
AND, Don't forget, there are only a few days left to shop on line to enter February Cyber Stamp Club. A $45.00 purchase gives you a chance at winning the Hostess Set for the Month.
Yes, Level 2 hostess Set, Picnic Parade.
You will also receive the Tutorial for the Month, Wonderful Watercolors and the Kit of the Month which contains all the products to create the projects in this months tutorial. Just my little way of saying thank you for supporting my blog and my fun little business.
Happy Stamping

I so look forward to the ten minute challenge on Friday, that I HAD to sneak a peak way before lunch time today! (My boss is off today – do you think he’ll figure it out?) Lovely card again, Sandi! I do believe that Madame Villain has quite a crush on Mr. Nasty! Please tell him that Madame Villaine would love to give him a little kiss!
You guys are just too much fun! One of these days I want to meet you in person!
Howdy Sis

I love this card and YOU know I need play with this set
I still have not

one would never know about the Mustard buttons
they look fabulous
love yha sis and have a super great day!
Very cute card! I just got my set and paper today, so I’m leaving work early to go home and play!
I certainly hope that darling dog in the picture is not “Mr. Nasty” as he is way too cute for a name like that! Love the card and the fact that you photo’d your clock!
Hi Sandi,
I didn’t think that I really “needed” that stamp set or that dsp, but after seeing what you did with both of them on this card I have added them to my “wish list”! I really like the way you interpreted Carole’Anne’s sketch. Good job!

PS I really look forward to your Friday night 10 minute challenges!
Thanks Sandi for making me look at creating a card in a totally new light. Quite enjoying participating in these challenges. If off to the craft room to meet your challenge. Will add to Mr. Linky once completed.
Mr. Nasty better get on a plane soon
Cute card. I like your choice of buttons. The color goes well. It always amazes me how you and Carole’Anne can whip such cute things up in only 10 minutes!
Well, if you’re interested in Timer flirting, Mme Villaine wants to plant a little sugar on Mr. Nasty. I don’t understand it, but there it is. That card is really cute, and I really like the designer paper with that colour ribbon! Great combo.
