Lots of questions about the Witches Boot, here is how you do it. I cut out two of the STocking Die in Black, snip out that little black piece to make a heal (left side of photo below) then, used my 3-1/2 inch circle die and cut two of those, use the 1-3/4 inch circle punch to take a bit out of that. Remember, you need two of everything.
Attach the circle to the back of the toe portion of the stocking. Then Emboss it with the Big Shot, it helps greatly to hide the seams. Again, do this to both sides.
NOTE – make sure you turn your other side the other way, so the embossing is on the outside of both ( I forgot :0(
Next I took a strip of Limeade, and punched it out….I think this was about 11 inches long
Run it through your crimper 3 or 4 times, this breaks down the fibers in the paper for you
then you can peal them apart, which gives you two pieces, nice and thin and pliable, so you can pleat it, as you attach it to the top of the boot. I used Sticky Strip tape for that.
I used the tombow glue to put this together, I like this glue when I need something to be really strong.
The box between the two boots is made with the Box #2 Die. Put the whole thing together, including using STicky Strip to tape the lid closed, then use your craft knife to cut the end out.
Attach a boot piece to each side.
I used the Window word punch, and Silver Shimmer paper for the laces, and added a black brad on each.
This was really fun to create…ok, now it's your turn
