The Theme for Stampin Up Convention this year, was I AM
This was the beautifully decorated main stage for our events
Shelli Asked us to think all week and finish the sentence I AM…..
I am blessed to have a friend as kind and compassionate as Lee Conrey who was awarded the Stampin Up Statement of the Heart award.
I am grateful for fellow demonstrators who share their creative ideas with all of us
I am honored to work for a company like Stampin Up who continually provides us with such amazing, products to share with our family and friends.
I am blessed to have so many friends to shares these wonderful adventures with
I am amazed at the wonderful design ideas that the Stampin Up conceptual artists come up with and share with us.
and I am happy to be home…..and sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words, LOL…If you can't really see it, my suitecase was ever so slightly overweight because of all the SWAG that Stampin Up gave us….hence, the big orange tag……How heavy you ask? Well, we are down to 3 wheels! ha-ha…I almost peed my pants when this happened it was just so funny!….(not so funny, the $90. fee I had to pay!)…oh well – I had so much fun, and I met so many wonderful people, and I'm already booked for next year!…
I also came home to over 1500 e-mails, so thank you for your patience as I work to respond to them all, and thank you for all your kind words, yes, I had an exception year, and I thank you all for helping make that happen for me.
I'm off to unpack, start laundry, mount stamp sets and we will be back in the studio very shortly sharing with you again!.
BUT – CHECK OUT MY STAMPING WITH SANDI FACEBOOK PAGE, I JUST LOADED A BOATLOAD OF PROJECT PICTURES THERE!
and if you need a catchy tune to hum all day, check out the Stampin Up Convention 2012 Theme Song…LOVE IT>

oh, Sandi I am so sad that your suitcase broke bringing home all our great stuff. My I am is that I am so greatful to be working for a company that has sooo many wonderful people also working for them and I get to meet so many of them at convention and get so much inspiration when I do.
…and I am so greatful for you my dear friend who has been so supportive of me all year!!!
Love ya Girlfriend!!
We are really sister's from a different mommy!!! I looked at your post after I sent mine. The theme really resonated with me as well!!! Miss you already. Hugs Shelagh.
Sandi, I love your I am statements! This is the first convention I've missed that I wish I could have seen (if that makes any sense) – I just really like the I am independent song! As for the overweight bag and swag — something I've done at professional conferences (OK, tax law conferences) is they have a shipping company on site to send your stuff back. I bet if SU! asked, UPS would have some men in brown (or ladies) to take care of that for everyone. Just a thought…..
You're precious! I did not run into you at my First Convention! Maybe next year Peep! I was so moved at the love that is shared there. Very special people. All of them. Sniff!
loved loved loved this post! sorry about the suitcase and the fee. So glad you are already booked for next year! Thank you for all you did for our Late Night Stamper group. Your contest made our events even more wonderful! Love, sherrill
