At Stampin UP Convention we had the opportunity to purchase this little stamp called

and SHARE WHAT YOU LOVE is also the motto for Stampin Up.  It is a motto I live by and so when I saw the Sweet Sunday Sketch #79 , I KNEW right away, which stamp I would be playing with.

Here is my finished card and I’ll share a little tutorial of how I got there.

Love What you Do Stamp Set
sorry, the bottom of the picture is a little dark, it is hard to lower the light to get the embossing, but keep enough to get the flowers, I have close ups of the flowers for you down a bit.

I inked the stamp with my Stamp-n-write markers, Melon Mambo, Marina Mist and Old Olive, I cut my ovals with the OVALS DIE, #114525 page 213,

I embossed a piece of Whisper White 4 x 5-1/4 with the new embossing Folder, ELEGANT LINES #119277, page 214

I attached a piece of 1-1/4 ” Striped Grosgrain in Marina Mist (7 inches) to the embossed piece before attaching it to the card base which is Marina Mist, 4-1/4 x 11, scored and folded at 5-1/2

I ran some scraps through Mr. Big on top of my Sizzlits Die, FLORAL FUSION  #115969, page 210.

sprayed them all with water – you just knew there was going to be something gooey didn’t you? LOL.

then scrunch them up while they are still wet.

Use your MAT PACK #105826, page 198 and your PIERCING TOOL #116631, also page 198, to poke holes through all the pieces

and use some of those Oh so beautiful, ANTIQUE BRADS #117273, page 187 to make the flower centers

(ok, I didn’t create this technique, it was presented at Convention – Yes – One more reason to go – They share awesome ideas with you)…You can only go if your a demonstrator though –

I can hook you up, tee hee…. call me.

knock the dust off the 5 PETAL FLOWER EXTRA LARGE PUNCH, #119880, page 200, and punch some out of Old Olive Scrap…….cut them into 2 and 1 leaf pieces, yes they make great leaves, WAIT – you will see.

Layer your stamped art piece to the bigger Oval and attach with DIMENSIONALS #104430, page 197

Use your Piercing tool again (see above for number and page), to pick up your BASIC PEARLS, #119247, page 188

attach them to your card in the embossed image spaces.

Ok, you know that I am “thrifty” (nice word for CHEAP!), and I always cut my dimensionals in half.  Don’t do that here.  The brads are heavy, the flowers are still damp – Break the Bank, use a Whole Dimensional on the back of your flowers.  You want them to stay on the card right?

attach them, then add some leaves with glue dots…don’t forget to wait till the leaves are dry, they stick way better…….I had to use my heat tool, patience is not a virtue that God blessed me with!..

ANYWAY, because the paper was wet, and you scrunched it, it kind of looks like leather, it’s very cool.

now, don’t you just love your BIG SHOT MACHINE #113439, PAGE 204  Guess What, this card would almost have made it for the Friday 10 minute challenge……..

All of the items used today can be purchased through my ONLINE STORE.

(just click on the words ONLINE STORE – and thank you for your orders)

I hope you enjoyed my little tutorial today, it felt so nice to be back stamping….now I have to return to cutting all my shares.  The Designer paper is finished, now to the ribbon…… is so beautiful.,

I’ll share a picture of all that lusciousness ,,,tomorrow.

until then, give your Mr. Big Shot a little love and create a card or two,

and share what you LOVE!.
