Whoo hoo, I spent the day playing with some new toys – ehmmm, I mean, tools!, tee hee, can you believe this is "work", I still can't!, but ANYWAY – I have a new stamp set, MIXED BUNCH from Stampin Up, and whoo hoo again, it came with a MATCHING "BLOSSOM" Punch – I love it when STampin Up Does this!…..
So, I created a pile of cards for a new program I'm starting shortly – so you can't see them yet!,,,I Know, I'm bad!…but hey, good things come to those who wait right?
I can show you this one though

I'm having so much fun with this set, you just can't stand it!….

ok, so here is what I'm playing with, this is the Mixed Bunch stamp set - Yep, I'm a wood girl, and I'll die a wood girl!…. and the matching BLOSSOM punch, cool right?

and here is a close up of a flower, I didn't stamp this one, just used the Blossom Punch and a piece of designer paper, and I didn't want it to lay flat, so I have been fooling around folding petals….and I also punched out the image from the background designer paper, so I had a nice layered shadow going on….cool beans or what right? Really fast and easy to create beautiful designs with this set, and like I said, stay tuned, we have something very fun coming your way with this set kicking off the event!…..I have had a few "life" issues get in the way of that happening sooner.
BLOG CANDY winner!....thank you for all your lovely comments and great ideas for all the beautiful new Sale-a-bration items, I agree with you all, I like EVERYTHING in the catalog too, so it's very hard to choose just one – but if your on a budget, you kind of have to right!….
So, normally, I do a random draw right – well, I hope you will forgive me for not doing that this time, because this comment tugged at my heart! BIG TIME
Hi Sandi, I just wanted to tell you tha I just admire all of your paper arts. My favorite would have to be the Everyday Enchantment DSP. I belong to an organization that has what is known as Card Angels. This smply means that I send cards and letters to a person assigned to me that is suffering from cancer. We are required to send at least two cards/letters per week. Your cards are so beautiful. They would be so perfect for me to send along to someone who needs more of a lift and some happiness in life than I can even imagine. Thank you Sandi for all you do for the papercrafting world.
Not because she complimented my work, but for what she wanted to do with my cards! I also have had the misfortune to have had cancer twice in the past two years, and just yesterday was overjoyed to find out that my newest lump (on the roof of my mouth), was in fact NOT cancer ! So when I read this comment last evening, I knew where the cards were going. I do understand that is not totally fair to the rest of you, so stay tuned, I will have NEW BLOG CANDY tomorrow and it will truly be a random draw! and thank you for understanding! until then!
Hugs and Happy Stamping

Hi Sandy,
What a great choice you made in who gets your cards!! You know, no where did you state that it would be a 'random draw' so it was entirely fair to choose Karen, don't worry about that. I love your cards and tutorials. Thank you so much for sharing your talent. God bless.
What a great idea to punch the flower in the SDP for the shadow effect. I, for one, think you made a very wise choice in who to award the cards to. She is doing a wonderful ministry with her cards.
I love that you chose Karen because of what she will do with your cards. I also am in the Card
Angel program and think Karen is so generous to use her "winnings" to help make a chemo patient's day a little brighter. The cards mean so much to these wonderful people and when they are home made, they think we are such talented artists !!! That always gives my day some extra sunshine !
Thanks, Sandi, for sharing all your fun projects.
Cindy
So agree with your choice for your blog candy winner…she truly is an angel!
Love your card…I only bought the punch, so far, but will try your idea of folding the petals.
TGIF…and go red for heart disease!
Sandi, do you know how well (I know not exact) the Mixed Bunch stamps fit with the Bigz L Fun FLowers die???? Thanks – Amy
Had you not "tattled" on yourself, none of us would know that you didn't do a random pick. This just shows us that you are an honest person as well as a careing one. Karen will put the cards to great use and the person she sends them to will find comfort in knowing that someone cares about them. I love using the Blossom punch on designer paper. That opens up a whole new thought process in my brain. Thanks for the idea. I have been looking at this stamp set and matching punch, trying to decide if I really need it in my stash. Thanks Sandi – you just spent some more of my hard earned money. (Sorry, I'll be working with my gal here locally, so you won't reap the paycheck from this particular sale.) Please Tell Oscar and Miss Lucy hello from me. My best to you and Ian as well. Cathy in Baltimore.
Sandy, you are so generous. You have a big heart for those suffering. What a wonderful way to share your talent than to bring some sunshine into someone's life who is ill. God bless you.
Sandi, there is no need to apologise for not doing a random draw. If any of us had seen that comment on our blog, we would have chosen Karen also. Keep up the great inspiration.
You made the right decission, she is doing something wonderful for people who need it. Thank you for choosing her.
