Pocket silhouettes-purple card

After I posted yesterday, I went back to clean up my work tables, but, I cut up a bunch more paper and in an hour, had 12 more of these made.  Holly asked if it really was quick?  Yes it is.  Once you figure out how to move the paper and get all your supplies out.  My studio is right across from a bathroom.  This was really handy for washing off the brayer to change colors, just run it under water, and dry it with a paper towel.

and Yes, this technique is very similar to Michelle Zindorf's.  That is part of where I got this idea from.  She sponges her mountains and the picture I saw in the English Stamping Magazine showed them brayered.  So it is a combination of both of those ideas then me trying to shadow and fade out the background mountains.  Does that make it a DOUBLE CASE – LOL, I think so.

Asian artistry stamp set - brayered mountains

to me, this one really looked like the mountains in China, so out came the ASIAN ARTISTRY Stamp set.

I also got out my Versamarker Pen (yes, we sell them).  This is why

Asian Artistry stamp set - versa mark pen I highlighted the stamped image with the Versamarker pen, poured Gold embossing powder over it and heat set it.  It adds a little "bling" to the picture.

I received quite a few e-mails asking permission to case and post.  Of course you can.  That is why I shared the tutorial with you.  Use it for classes, post your pictures of your projects on your blog, if you like, link back to my post yesterday for the tutorial.  I have absolutely no problem with that.  That is completely different from just taking one of these pictures and posting it to a blog.  And my apologies that there is a disclaimer at the top of each post now and the size of my watermark, but you know why!

So, after I finished these cards last night, the mess was still there, and I came up with another idea, which I'm going to share with you tomorrow…..
