Hi stampers, Happy Friday – and you know that means 10 minute challenge with CaroleAnne and the most amazing, Stamp-a-Holics Design team. This week, we have a Inspiration Challenge picked and presented by team member Nancy Dawson. Nice Job Nancy.
and it just happened to go perfectly with one of my new SNEAK PEEK Stamp sets that arrived and has been taunting me to finish my kits YEAH< THEY ARE DONE>
Ok, so here is my finished card:
don't you love the little baby, tee hee…..this stamp set is called BABY BUNDLE and it is on page 78 of the new 2010-2011 catalog. As demonstrators, we got a peek at a few of the new ones and got to order a few. I'm not allowed to show the actual sets to you, but I can shows you what I created, so here is my first card.
I started with our inspiration picture and Whisper White and Pretty in Pink…
And yes Mitzi, All the Kings Horses and all the Kings Men (and a little glue),
Put Mr. Nasty back together again. poor little guy, he had quite the fall.
My card is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 score and fold at 4-1/4
Very Vanilla piece is 4 x 5-1/4, I used the cute little heart from the set and randomly stamped it with Pretty in Pink ink.
Then I ran that piece through the Big Shot with my Dots embossing folder.
I cut a piece of Whisper White card stock 2-1/2 x 2-3/4 and stamped the carriage image, then I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the baby stamp.
I colored the carriage with one of my new Markers, DAFFODIL DELIGHT
I added the little booties and the bottle – there are 16 stamps in this set – it's going to be a ton of fun to play with.
Then I made a mat from Certainly Celery. It is 3 x 3-1/4 and I used the SCALLOP BOARD PUNCH down the 3-1/4 side.
I used the large heart punch and stamped the sentiment on it. and I was deciding if I wanted to add some satin ribbon.
You know who, was about to start – so I decided, I was so enjoying stamping and creating with this new set, and my new markers, that I was just going to turn him off…..besides one of my favorite songs was playing on the radio…
So here is what I finished with
- I did add the ribbon 6 inches, and tucked the ends behind the white piece before I attached it.
- 11 inches of same ribbon to make the bow.
- I colored the wheels and the nipple on the bottle with my new marker, CRUMB CAKE -it used to be Kraft, it is very cool, we have ink pads and markers in that color now, I have waited so long for that, tee hee..
- I sponged the edges of the heart and the art piece with Regal Rose,
- stamped the little heart again on the big heart and colored it with Regal Rose
layered it all and attached.
oK, SO IT'S A 12 MINUTE AND 13 SECOND CARD!
(you know I had to let him win – his little ego is so bruised, tee hee).
Ok, My event is tomorrow and I haven't done my swap cards yet. I have decided to use another of the new sets to do that, so I will post that tonight before I go to bed, so you will see them tomorrow at the same time as I'm swapping them. The post tomorrow will also have the Cyber Stamp Club winner from last month, and the details for this month. Sorry for the delay, these Big classes are fun, but they take a ton of time to prepare for. Anyone want a job cutting paper??????
Ok, so tell me what you think of the new stamp set, then lets head on over to Miss CaroleAnne's blog and see what she and the rest of the team are up to. CLICK HERE to go there.
Thanks so much for stopping in, I so hope it is sunny somewhere – because it sure isn't here in Portland. Did you know we have a swimming pool in our back yard? tee-hee. It's about 3 inches deep! Miss LUCY is loving this,
Hugs to you all

How darling this is. I just love the new set and what you create with it is scrumptious. It is one I didn’t get but maybe some other time. I don’t have a lot of call for new baby cards. Now watch, everyone will be pregnant at work next week. Have a wonderful weekend.

I LOVE your card. This is my favorite set from the sneak peek! I can’t wait to get my hands on it!
You are such a tease!!! I will get my set on Monday. How fun! I can’t wait. BTW, looks like most of us “went over” this week (I’ll fess up, I was at 11 1/2 min), maybe the timers should go back to the kitchen??? Quality rather than quantity??? LOL.
What a really adorable layout. I love that the bottle is laying down just like a little one would have dropped/thrown it hahaha. I too am glad that Crumb Cake is going to be in pads and markers it’s about time.
Well thanks again for this beautiful creation, as it hard for me to make cute baby cards.I know I could do this one.
Soooo cute! That set is on my “to get” list for sure. Love what you did with it.
Cynthia
