Howdy, welcome back. As promised, here is my second, simple card with the new OF THE EARTH Stamp Set. If you have been visiting me for awhile, you know, I have a hard time with "simple". I'm a product hog, I have to have layers upon layers of card stock, ink everywhere, and something gets embossed! Well, not today my friends. Well, not totally. This was one of those fast and fun numbers.
The card is 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 side fold in Crushed Curry (yummy new in color)
Whisper White is 4 x 5-1/4. First thing I did was put it in my Stampin Up cutter, and I used my score attachment to score two lines down the right side (ok, I know, I embossed it! – dry embossing this time, man, it is so hard to break habits!).
Next, I used my stamp-a-ma-jig (page 191)to stamp the flower 3 times down the right side in Dusty Durango.
Stamped the sentiment across the bottom with Crushed Curry (these names are making me hungry!).
Next, I stamped the birdie with Dusty Durango onto a piece of Crushed Curry, cut him out, distressed the edges with my little distressing tool (cutting kit on page 191) and I mounted him with some dimensionals.
Easy peasy and yah won't be getting anything easier than that from this old broad let me tell yah.
Ok, I am creating up a storm today, so short post, don't want to lose my mojo. Wait till you see this tutorial, I am SO LOVING IT> New toys from my new TOY BOX, a hint, a new die, a new stamp set, new ribbon (of course). YUMMY, you gonna like it!.
thanks for stopping, hope you got some ink on your fingers today, I know I did!.

I’ve been sulking because I haven’t been able to get excited about any of the Level 1 Hostess sets. Guess you showed me! You’ll never guess which one is at the top of my wish list now… LOL!
Thats a lovely flower
I will second Joyce’s comment above! This is LOVELY, and right up my alley – clean and simple. The colors are awesome.
