Sherrill our group Mom at Late Night Stampers gave us a challenge – to post 12 days of Christmas. I have decided to take it a step further and see if I can do the whole song with Stampin Up Only products. I might need your creative help on a few of these though, LOL.
My hubby Ian will be getting these each day because we have decided to fore-go gifts to each other this year and help out some less fortunate folks instead. I hope you will play along and please give me your suggestions on the next cards – hey, like Lords a Leaping – my gosh, that one has me stumped, good thing I have a few days to come up with it.
Ok, so here is my version of A PARTRIDGE IN A PEAR TREE
Yep, they are going to be mushy too!
First, I cut my card 4-1/4 x 11, scored and folded at 5-1/2
then I used one of my WHACKED embossing folders and embossed the top and bottom

The Whisper White piece is 4 x 4-1/4
Sentiment is a preview of WELL SCRIPTED coming in the Occasions Mini Jan 5/10
Bird and Branch are also a preview – new punch EXTRA LARGE TWO STEP BIRD
also the Occasions Mini Jan 5/10
Designer paper is from the Holiday Mini-CHRISTMAS COCOA SPECIALTY
You only have until Jan 4/10 to order from that catalog
The Ribbon is the Mistletoe ribbon, page 33 also the Holiday Mini
oh, that piece of Designer Paper was 1-1/2 x 4-1/4
I used a scrap of Old Olive cut to 4-1/4 wide, I punched it with the new punch
SCALLOP TRIM BOARDER – from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog
which also starts Jan 5th, and you can earn it for free with a $50. purchase
Wow – can you just stand all the new stuff coming Jan 5-2010 YOWZA

Oh, I don’t have – to my knowledge, a Stampin Up Pear, so I just cut one out of a scrap of Summer Sun
The little stem, was a piece I cut from a scrap of Soft Suede that I punched with the new punch, and just cut off one of the scallops.
Hope you like my card, I know my hubby will love it.
Why don’t you play along with me. You can join Late Night Stampers and you can upload your card there too.
See you Tomorrow for Two TURTLE DOVES! – lol – this is so fun.
toodles, and thanks for stopping in.

Love this idea Sandi. As cute as all the elements are for some reason the pear really makes it.

Sandi–Your card is just fabulous! Love all the new elements and the way you used the Christmas paper! I’m sure your hubby will love all of the cards. Your site is in my favorites file and I check it regularly, as I love your style and creativity. I’m thinking frogs for Lords a Leaping, but you’re way more creative than I am. Can’t wait to see all of them.

Absolutely adorable!!! Believe it or not, there IS a small pear SU stamp, and it looks exactly like the one you cut out:) Thanks for sharing! Love it!
Ooops, forgot to share which set the pear is in: Cheep Talk. It’s a real sweet little pear and looks really cute if you stamp the little leaves at the top of the pear:)
