Happy Monday Stampers – I took the weekend off, as many of you noticed, tee hee…Yes I'm ok. My hubby was away last week, and after the wirlwind of the past two weeks and all the classes, we took a weekend off, worked in the yard, relaxed in my "lazy girl" chair and a few other things I'll share at the end of this post.
But, for today, I got up early to check out the Mojo Monday Challenge, and here is what happened
This is actually two stamp sets, a new one ON THE GROW coming to you May 1st in the SUMMER MINI CATALOG, and ARTISTIC ETCHINGS, from the IDEA BOOK AND CATALOG.
These little scooters always remind me of France – obviously, LOL…. so I took the Mojo Challenge, and just ran with it.
All the pieces
Basic Black card base 5 x 10, score & fold at 5
Real Red 4-3/4 square
Love Letter Designer Paper 3 x 4-1/2 (black lines) – red dots 1-1/2 x 4-1/2
Basic Black 2 x 4-1/2 – punch with Scallop Edge Border Punch #119882 $15.95
Add a piece of ribbon around the design paper unit and attach.
Use the Mat Pack and piercing tool to make the holes for the Antique Brads.
Then attach this to the card face.
3-1/4 Circle and I Black Embossed the scooter image.
3-1/2 Real Red Circle
I used the Aqua Painter and my Regals Crayons to paint the image
Add some Dimensional to the back
attach to the card.
I used the Boho Blossoms Punch to make flowers
and I added pearls and ribbon
I used Crystal Effects on the motorcycle. to make it new and shiny!
and here is what I did yesterday morning, These are my thank you cards for my ordering customers this month. I hand painted each card and I used the Paisley Petals Designer Paper which is the special for this month

I agree with you about the scooter and France – and several other European countrys as well. Love that you used Crystal Effects on the scooter – what a difference it makes on special sections of cards! Glad that you took some time off for yourself and with the ‘kids’ and your hubby! That little motorbike is a perfect image to go alongside the Eifel tower!!! Wonderful card.
