Good morning fellow addicted ones!…get your coffee and lets see if we can't beat the pants off ol Mr. Nasty shall we? He's been harassing me all week about how BAD I did at last weeks challenge….(he's right – but PLEASE don't tell him that).
Here we are, Mr. Ornery – oops, I mean Mr. Nasty!, tee hee, he heard that!
Here is our inspiration this week. I picked this photo from Pier 1 to inspire us all. Yep, you can blame it on me again this week…….go ahead, I can take it…..
SO here is where I started, I used Sweet Sunday's sketch from last week, I collected some papers that I thought looked like those pillows on the couch, and there is A LOT of Vanilla in that picture, so that is my base.
I used FINIAL PRESS EMBOSSING FOLDER and embossed a piece of 4 x 5-1/4 and attached it to the front.
checking in on His Grumpiness! – doing well here.
I sliced strips of 3/4 inch designer paper in 3 different colors, then I snipped the ends at different lengths and attached them to the card.
and that big ol FUZZY pillow talked to me, so you just know I had to do this!.
I think I have 5 layers of the medium flower and 6 of the small, this is the Flower, Daisies 2 die.
Smack in the middle of this, Mr. Brown arrived!….SWEET – these are supplies and some door prizes for the Sequim event……..
OH yah, and my punches all got a new home today – told you I was cleaning, boy did I clean, and boy did my studio need it. For the first time in weeks, you can actually see the tops of all 4 tables!….and you can no longer write your name in my dust!
His Meanness is not so happy this week!, I'm almost done, and lookie at the time…….
I put a pretty little corduroy button through the center of the flower before I attached it, then I stamped and punched my sentiment from the OVAL ALL STAMP SET, (page 125), matted that with a SCALLOP OVAL PUNCH from the same designer paper as the strip on the card.
I'm done, Whoo hoo, look at the time…..
now we are Mr. Pouty!…..as my mom used to say – put that lip away or I'll hang my coat on it!….tee-hee….
Here is my finished card, no way this puppy is going in an envelope, so it will have to be one of those – face to face card deliveries, lol….anybody wanna do lunch?
and here is how poofy that flower is.
Ok, that is my stab at the 10 minute challenge, yeah me, I did it in less than 10 minutes.
Lets sneak on over to visit Madame Villaine and see how she and Miss Carole'Anne made out, along with the rest of the design team. click HERE. to get there!. Don't forget, you can play along too, and load your project photo to Mr. Linky over at Carole'anne's blog!.

What a great card!!!! I love the Big, Fluffy Daisy!!!!! Beautiful. TFS. And love the Pic of Miss Lucy!! Have to get a high speed camera to catch the others!!!!!! Made me smile!!!!
I admire you for making cards in only 10 minutes! It takes me forever…*LOL*
I just love the big fluffy daisy.
And great way to store your punches.
Also love your Mr. 10 minutes and your sweet dog.
Wow, great card. I love the fluffy flower. I also love your punch shelves. I need something like that.
My mom used to say “put that bottom lip away before a bird poops on it” – yours seems more humane. Love this card!
OH what a beautiful card! Love that flower. I got that die and havn’t played with it yet. Might just have to do that this weekend. We are supposed to get 2-4 inches of snow tonight – and more the first part of next week. We had (HAD) such a beautiful warm Spring for Northern MN… and of course the weather had to snow at least one more time before Summer! Anyway – going to stay home and play as long as the weather will be so icky! ;-)
I love it and it looks so simple (to make I meant). The flower is really cute. Projects that are easy to make are my favorite. Cards that take hours to make are not my cup of tea but when I do make them I don’t want to give them away. Have a wonderful time this weekend. If your punches are any indication you did a great job cleaning your stamp room. Want to come down to do lunch, have a class and help me organize mine? Say hi to the fun furry ones for me.

I love your assortment of cards!! Wish that I could be there!! Thanks for sharing
Linda
I wish we had that die downunder! Love your card..I was thinking of using the cushion as inspiration but settled on some of the colours instead. LOve your card Sandi and Miss Lucy looks like she is thinking the boys are silly beggers hooning around!
Beautiful card. LOVE the flower and the colors. You really nailed it.
My mom used to say put that bottom lip away before you step on it.
Miss Lucy is adorable.
Thanks for sharing with us. Have a wonderful weekend.
Mr Nasty does not have a sense of humor!!!! I think you should have one this one. But duty calls when the UPS Man comes I go a runnin too :)!! What a great flower I really got inspired by it. Have a great weekend Sandi!
Your card looks amazing! Gotta love that flower!
I love to see how other demos get organized. Thanks for sharing pics about that too!
One and a half minutes to spare, I am impressed. Sweet card, with a sweet design. Love the challenge this week.
Great card, flower and time! I like the little, pink corduroy button at the flower center. Your cards are all so beautiful. If I didn’t live clear across the country, I would love to stop in for your class. Have fun!
Another gorgeous card, Sandi! Love how you can put them together in 10 minutes (usually, LOL!!). The flower with the corduroy button is fab!
Love, Love this beautiful design, and so impressed how quickly you made it. Is the Flower card stock Very Vanilla? All the colors with it are so perfectly arranged. It just looks elegant. Love your style.
Thank you for sharing your expertise.

Great card,Sandi! I love the flower. You did it again… beat that ol’ Mr. Nasty. Bailey and Coco would love to romp with your doggies. It is a cold very windy day here in Michigan. Oh! Way to go on organizing your craft room, too. Mine is desperately calling me.
Ok, I’m officially out of hybernation and had a chance to “look” although I couldn’t stand it and took a sneak peek on Friday after all! he-he.. You are one talented woman! I love the flower, too! And I’m working on my space, it’s just not as BIG as yours! Give the zoomies and Ms. Lucy a hug for me!
This is so pretty Sandi. Love that flower! Want to come clean my house?
