Here are some projects I have created using the Painting with Embossing Powder technique I have been fooling with.

The Stampin Up Stamp Set used here is AUTUMN SPLENDOR
this clock is made with recycled items – and I purchased the "card stands" from my friend
Lee Conrey (click here to get yours) They are on the right side of her blog. The clocks fit perfectly in them and they come apart and lay flat for shipping. I know I'm going to be making a few of these for Christmas.
and here are a few more ideas for you of different Stampin Up Stamp Sets I used this technique on.

This is the Stampin Up Stamp set, JUST BELIEVE, and the background stamp SANDED

this one is my personal favorite, using the Stampin Up stamp set INSPIRED BY NATURE
and the little butterfly is from the CHARMING stamp set

and if you have ever spent time in Northern Canada in the Winter (I have!)- you can relate to these, BURRRRRRRR – but Beautiful- this is the Stampin Up, Season of Friendship Stamp Set.

Same Trees as above, but I added a couple of "friends from the Stampin Up Stamp set AVIARY

and for this one, I used the SNOWFLAKE stamp included in the Stampin Up Set SEASON OF FRIENDSHIP, and when I was finished doing the Painting with Embossing Powder Technique on the trees, I stamped and embossed the snowflakes with White Embossing Powder.
And here is a Video to show you the technique – If you are reading this in an e-mail, CLICK HERE to view the video
And, I am holding one IN-Studio workshop on this technique, you can check it out and sign up HERE
seating is limited to 6, so payment will guarantee your spot.

This clock is gorgeous. Can’t wait to read my copy and see this technique.
These are gorgeous! What a fun creative way to use embossing powders and come up such elegant cards and designs that look like you spent a lot of time on – thanks for sharing!! Mary L
LOVE THIS LOOK. Can hardly wait to try it. You ROCK girlfriend!
All gorgeous projects Sandi. And your Season of Friendship tree just convinced me I could like this set! I’ve looked and looked and though I’ve seen some wonderful projects with this stamp set I’ve yet (until today) found one that could make me see the need for this set. You my friend have done it(you enabler you)! I think in part its the mottleing from the mix of colors and texture that makes it look much more like a natural or a somewhat stylized natural tree.
Thanks for sharing the technique and the link to the new magazine too! Congratulations on being one of the featured artists!
Saturday hugs for you and the clan. – Jean
