Hi Stampers.
Today I'm sharing a New catalog Sneak Peek with you – the Strength and Hope Stamp set coming in the Summer Mini which goes live May 1st…Whooo hoo – NEW RUBBAH!. As Demonstrators we get to purchase new catalog items early, and here in the U.S. Stampin UP allowes us to show you the projects that we have made with these items, as long as we don't show you pictures of the actual stamps.
Apparently not the case overseas, and we have been receiving questions, so thought I would clarify that we are not breaking any rules by doing this.
I also decided to take up the Mojo Monday Challenge for this week, another beautiful sketch by the oh so talented Julee Tilman, Thank you Miss Julee.
Recipe:
- Card Base – Baja Breeze, 4-1/4 x 11, score and fold at 5-1/2
- Background, – Very Vanilla, 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 – Embossed with FRAMED TULIPS EMBOSSING FOLDER #121809 $7.95
- DSP – 1-1/4 x 2-1/2
- vanilla mat, 2-5/8 x 3-7/8
- Baja mat 2-3/4 x 4

- CRUMB CAKE SEAM BINDING RIBBON #122332 $6.95
- Ink, Baja and Crumb cake.
I cut and embossed my pieces, stamped the flourish image with Baja Breeze Ink
I decided that was a little to neat and tidy, so I crumbled it up.
Un-crumbled it and added some Crumb Cake ink.
Cut my designer paper and attached to the mats.
Used the sentiment in the lighter area for a little "background noise"
Cut a circle and stamped the sentiment again (3 times) to cover
Used my MAGIC BOW MAKER (visit my friend LEE – to get yours), to make a double bow.
attached it to my card. Attached all of this to the card base, then added the circle and my embossed and cut out butterfly.
When this Summer Mini Catalog goes live, this stamp set will be available. Stampin UP is donating $2.00 from the purchase of each stamp set to THE BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION. I think this is a great idea, so in June, I will be hosting a class in my studio that will be dedicated to this as well, and will included the stamp set for each person attending. We will have a fun afternoon of card making and proceeds will be directed to this foundation as well. If you are interested, please let me know.
Ok, FUNNY STORY
Last fall, I purchased these Decals from Stampin Up – and "Pimped my ride"! One on either side of the back windows, and one on the back. I was grocery shopping yesterday, and I came back to this.
tee hee, I Love it. I called Jeanette, and she is almost my neighbour, so I'm getting catalogs to her, ordering the supplies she needs, and I've made a new stamping friend who we will be inviting to our events. Just a little fun on a rainy day here in Portland!.
Thanks for visiting, I'm off to stamp catalogs and make hand out packets for our event next weekend.
I hope you will come and visit us as the Portland Expo Center for

I LOVE this! It’s a creative way of using my most precious favorite DSP w/ out using up a lot of it. little hints of color and design to show the paper, yet not taking a whole lot! I really wish I would have bought more of his paper than I did, but I just didn’t get around to it. sigh….
Another beautiful project Sandi!
