Stitched Stockings Everyday Elegance

Hi stampers.

Today I played with a few new things.  A new Stamp set called STITCHED STOCKINGS, new punch, new Simply Sent card set called Everyday Elegance, pg 193 big catalog, New MINI JINGLE BELLS, new VELVET STITCHED RIBBON

and all of that, created this!.

and this was almost a 10 minute card too.

This is the Simply Sent Everyday Elegance card set, page 193, it comes with 8 cards, four in Cherry Cobbler and four in Baja Breeze.

They already have this beautiful scalloped edge – see how fast you could bang out 8 beautiful cards with this set, LOVE THEM..

And these cool stickers for a sentiment

I stamped my image on some Whisper White

Lined it up inside the punch, and punched it out

Added some sticky strip to the top, then added my velvet ribbon

I inked up just the center part of this sentiment from WELCOME CHRISTMAS.  I used my marker to do that, then my Stamp-a-ma-jig to position it.  I also stuck that sticker down on a slightly larger piece of Baja Breeze

used the build a bird punch to punch out some branches

I used white Baker's Twine page 194

and new mini bells to create the decoration for the socks

you get like 48 of these cute little guys in a package

and of course I used my DAZZLING DETAILS on the leaves to add some bling….

Sorry for being away all weekend…It was Labor Day weekend, so we labored, haha

It was too hot to work on our backyard project, so instead, we refinished 3 pieces of furniture we have wanted to get at for some time.  I changed all the colors in our spare room, so the night stands needed to become black, and we bought Ian new furniture for his office, so the bookcase needed to be darker as well….now my studio smells lilke "stain", and it's over 90 outside, so the air-conditioner has been on…..hard to get that smell out of there.  Two of the pieces are now finished and back in their rooms, one more coat on the last one, and I will have my studio back – yeah….nice to have these chores off the list.
