Hi stampers, I have the prettiest card to share with you today using the soon to be NOT AVAILABLE – BELLS AND BOUGHS STAMP SET. This one is from my friend Allison who lives in Sequim Washington, I would love to say she is in my downline – but no – not (yet), I'm still working on her, LOL.

Isn't it pretty, I just love how she used the punches for the images across the bottom, and left lots of white space too. This is just such a clean and elegant card which of course is Allison's style. Lets talk her into become a demonstrator!, tee hee..then she can teach us all this amazing style. CATHLEEN MCSORLEY created this -its a penny slide card, so the pumpkins, rolls back and forth, very cute card Cathleen.

Bells and Boughs, the bells are cut out for a very nice 3-d effect.

The holly leaves are cut and popped up here. I shared how to do this In THIS POST

and I just loved the simplicity of this card, great depth of field, using only 2 stamps.

Good day Stampers. I wanted to say a special thank you to all my online customers for your orders during this special Clearance Rack week. I thank you so much for choosing me as your demonstrator, and for your patience through the clogged up website. Stampin Up has tweeked it and it is running much smoother ( and faster), so if you did get frustrated with it at the beginning of the week, it is working well now. Lori and I gave it a little test run yesterday, LOL…..man, there is a TON of stuff on sale in there…we got her the Watercolor Crayons for $7.99 can you STAND IT.?..

As promised I'm sharing pics of the other two cards from our watercolor classes this week. Yesterday I made a new stamping friend, Lori. She did an amazing job on her cards and we had some good laughs., HI Lori.

For this one we used the stamp set FAST AND FABULOUS (pg 13), it is a Hostess Level two, so you need to earn it by having a Party or Online order of $300.00 or more – and I can help you with that, LOL…

In the background you will see that we also used the writing and the postage stamp from the FRENCH FOLIAGE stamp set available in the Holiday Mini (page 14) #120845 w #121166 c. The Sentiment came from TEENY TINY WISHES (pg 157) #115370 and there is a little "florish" stamped behind that which came from the stamp set TINY TAGS (pg 130) #118091 w #118592 C

The Background is Gold Embossed and the stamp is the EN FRANCAIS background stamp found on (pg 142) #109521. We used some ribbon and a few punches, painted these flowers with the Pear Pizzazz and Concord Crush reinkers, to match the cardstock used.

and last but certainly not least, the stamp set STUDIO SKETCHES was used here for the main image,

and we used the CHARMING STAMP SET (pg 130) #116519 for the background interest, the TINY TAGS for the little sentiments on the ribbon, the VINTAGE WALLPAPER embossing folder (pg 214) #120175 on the background, along with Antique Brads and Metalic Brads found on page 187.

along with a fast and fun little technique for quickly painting those little flowers, I'm LOVING those flowers… from the BELLS AND BOUGHS stamp set on page 19 of the Holiday Mini…and those pearls just set them off don't you think….this is a very elegant christmas card and many of my family will be receiving it this year.

Morning Stampers. I have been very busy designing and cutting kits for Saturdays big event.

World Card Making Day here in Portland Oregon is going to be so much fun, whoo hoo (cleaning up my studio – not so much, LOL).

I had a little piece of the DECK THE HALLS designer paper sitting there, and it had a beautiful design on it, so I came up with a quick little card. Mr. Nasty would have loved this one, I think it took less than 5 minutes to make

Ok, I had embossing powder out too and WAIT TILL YOU SEE what I created with it. I'll give you a hint, have you subscribed to the new online magazine Paper and Pixels yet? You want to do that before the next issue comes out. IT"S FREE!

UPDATE – the site is down right now, as soon as it is back up – I'll post a link for you!

So look closely at that center flower. I cut the piece of designer paper 3-7/8 x 5-1/8, layered it to a piece of Cherry Cobbler 4 x 5-1/4, put it over my cutting mat and used my craft knife to cut around the flowers.

Added my embossed sentiment and a couple of Pearls, and I'm done!.

MORE BELLS AND BOUGHS FOR THE 10 MINUTE CHALLENGE

I know, I know, I need to put this stamp set away and play with something else BUT, Our team mate Mitzi put up the sketch challenge this week and as soon as I saw it, I knew which paper I wanted to use.

Thank you Mitzi, your sketch is awesome.

Here is my finished card. Sorry the picture isn't great, the Deck the Halls Designer Paper from the Holiday mini is Beautiful but it has a Crumb Cake background which actually makes it dark to photograph, anyway, you get the idea right.

I mean really, who could resist this. It was made for it right? I don't scrap much, so when I see a design I can use one of these 12 x 12 pieces on, I'm all over it.

I have my little buddy all rigged up and ready to go. The weather has changed here, rain, rain, rain, so I might have to make him some rain gear, tee hee, I bet he would have something to say about that!.

so I got all my paper cut out and I embossed, then I decided I didn't want that kraft piece, ooops, excuse me, Crumb Cake….now who's bright idea was it to change names of card stock????

all this messing around, did take a lot of time,

for the center of my flowers, I used the little tiny pearls from the Basic Pearls set.

The flowers are colored with my Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke Stampin Write markers

I also used one of the strips of pearls in the package along the bottom of the sentiment, which is from Idea book. It's called FOUR THE HOLIDAYS, PAGE 154

Ok, so I finished with about 1 second to spare, Mr. Nasty almost got me this week.

DO you like what I did with the ribbon, under on the right, over and back on the left and secured with a button……it's covering a big old green thumb print, LOL…my green ink wasn't dry on my embossing when I went to put it together!
