Good morning blogging friends. Happy weekend to you. I have a few things to share with you today.
FIRST – A warm welcome to the newest member of our team Jarrod who also lives here in Portland. I'm so happy to have him join us. I have had the pleasure of seeing his art, it is spectacular and I know we are going to have fun stamping and learning techniques with him.
If you are interested in joining our team, please send me an e-mail and lets Chat. During Sale-a-bration is a wonderful opportunity to sign up, free stamps and $15% off, whoo hooo, what could be better.
Ok, so who is going to be the next State to Sign up?
I'm finishing up some swaps so thought I would share them with you. This Swap, was one card from the Sale-a-bration Mini and one from the Ocassions Mini. I'm going to show you my swaps today as they have to go postal, then I will share what I get in return, this should be fun, cyber swapping, you can swap through me……don't you just love the internet.
This is my Vintage Vogue one. Card is 4-1/4 x 5-1/2- Basic Black
Background is 4 x 5-1/4, I wheeled the left side then I embossed with the PERFECT POLKA DOTS embossing folder (pg 35 of the mini)
The center art piece is Whisper White, 2-1/4 x 3
the background is Basic Black, 2-3/4 x 3-1/4, punched the bottom with the boarder punch you can earn for FREE from the Sale-a-bration Special.
I stamped the flowers in Summer Sun, cut them out, shaped them, added a brad and attached with Dimensionals.
the Ribbon is the New Satin Ribbon from the Occasions Mini – in Basic Black, LOVE THAT RIBBON>
My other card is a variation of one I have already posted, so just go back a few for the details,
this one uses the stamp set Good Neighbors and the Designer Series Paper pad that matches, Welcome Neighbor, both earned for FREE from the Sale-a-bration Catalog.
If you want to earn them for free, simply place an order of $50. and take your pick…you can order HERE
Ok, so I'm going to sneak in a little picture here of the cards we made last weekend. This was a "fun day", where you could use any stamps and paper you wanted and our theme was Asian.
Well, the kids wanna go play and they are tearing down the house, so I better go referee so no one looses an eye, LOL..
Thank you so much for stopping in and spending a little time with me.
Hope you get a chance to get some ink on your fingers today!

For the beautiful yellow card swap you said you shaped the flowers — how’d you do that?
And, I love, love the Asian cards — I so wish I lived close by and could attend your classes.
I love all of your cards, maybe one of thses days I can be in one of your swaps! That would so make my day!!!
