Hi Welcome Back. It's Friday and that means it's 10 minute challenge day.
Here is the sketch that my oh so talented Partner in Crime CAROLANNE created.
and she had this great idea -" LETS DO A SCRAP PAGE SHE SAID"
"GREAT I SAID" WHAT A GOOD IDEA, we have not done one.
(yah, what's that saying – be careful what you wish for?)
I set up Mr. Nasty, who, judging by the temp. has been visiting his friends down under (No, I mean, really down under – I think he has relatives down there you know!).
and I just bet you can't guess who I decided to start a scrap book of!
Notice that Lucy's tongue won out on the cut, and Ian's eye's lost! LOL.
and did you notice another cool reason to be working on Stampin Up Graph paper, nice and square!
You NEED graph paper my friends.
wow, just cutting paper takes time, goodness me.
Because we got the babies for Christmas, I decided to do a snowflake theme
I did my background piece, then I used a piece left over from one of the Holiday mini sets.
There is a shortage of Christmas paper around here – that means I planned well for a change right!
oh goodness, you should hear him, he is humming, for a good reason I guess,
I ran around the table and quickly cut out some letters with my Mr. Big!
and tripped over a dog on the way back.
Ok, so this is not 23 seconds left, this is 23 seconds to the dark side, and the buzzer is a blazin, he is a humming, and LUCY is a howling, you should see the look on Jack's face, he is not happy. Oscar, well, Oscar slept through all this!.
got my letters organized, I decided to let Mr. Nasty have his day, and just let him run, mostly because I was quite curious just how long this was going to take.
and now we know. 21 excruciating minutes and 43 long seconds before I could turn him off.
WHAT WHERE WE THINKING?
Well, happily, I have a new book started, now if we did this challenge once a month, I might get caught up!. Ok, now that you have shared my pain, leave me a comment to get in on
then lets go see what Carole'Anne came up with. I know it will be lovely, she is so creative and talented, but I'm wondering if she suffered the same fate as I!
Click here and and lets go see shall we.

This is awesome! 10 min???? Well, I’ll try – LOL.

Does Ian get jealous when the dogs win out in the pics? I have more pics of my almost three year old fur baby than I do of my husband of 14 years. I love what you have done with your cone kids in their precone era. The paper, brads and colors you have chosen are just darling and they probably feel quite special to be on one of your great pages. Carole’Anne did a great job with the sketch and you really did it justice. Thanks for the inspiration.

aka Roscoe’s mommy
I love the page, but if you got them this past Christmas, wouldn’t it be 2009, not 2010? Either way, cute pups, and cute page!!!!
What a great page, it came out super cute!
-Cher
LOVE your page. Was it 12×12? I gotta start doing this! BTW, I love your blog and check it everyday during lunch! (Shhhh! Don’t tell my boss!)
Darla
I suffered too my dear sis!
goodness girl I feel your pain
It’s funny that we are both doing the blue/teal uh?
Not planned again!
I think we were separated at birth? LOL
Well darlin you did this fabulously (is that a word)
I just love love the photo of Lucy and Oscar and it’s funny that you chose the tongue over Ian’s eyes
you crack me up!
I love the snowflakes and you know how did the letters – that is what I did too – we are brilliant uh? LOL
We are certainly over acheivers thinking we could pull this off in 10 min.
Too good!
Thank you for being such an amazing partner and I love your page you did soooooo great
way to go!
hug to you
and to all three of your furry friends (kiddlets)
Très réussie et en si peu de temps… Félicitations.

Great scrapbook page! What better way to show off your “babies”.
I love your layout! It turned out so fab! Beautiful! A 10 minute lo is pretty impossible for me!
I love your page. It’s good to see I am not the only one who scraps their dog. lol
I’m planning a scrapbook for my niece (she recently got married), but because I have never scrap booked before I am procrastinating. Seeing what a great job you did, I feel motivated to get moving. You certainly don’t look like an “amateur”.
Love how “clean” the page looks. Taken With Teal was a great choice. It is a color I have under-appreciated until lately. Now it looks so fresh to me and I am amazed at what other colors it goes with.
I love the page and I LOVE the puppies. They are adorable.
I really look forward to your challenge
with Carole’Anne. It is always WAY too hard
to pick a winner.
Thanks for sharing your amazing talent with
us.
I love your layout, mine didn’t really turn out as I had planned!
It’s a fabulous page, Sandi! The pups look so cute, too!
All I can say is that is one awesome page to be done in less than 22 minutes. thanks for sharing
Great composition! And especially cute subject matter.Your page is nicely done.
Very nice job! Maybe this will inspire me to get back to scrapping, since I haven’t done any in two years–cards have taken over!
Your Christmas babies are such cuties. I really like your page. I would never attempt to do a scrapbook page in 10 min and I would never be able to actually do one in under 22 min! So kudos to you and Carole’Anne! Thanks for sharing!
Inky hugs,
Janet
Very Pretty page Sandi…..I just love these colors…..I will be sad when they retire these :0(
Love the site! And, cute scrap page, even if Mr. Nasty did win! Enter me in the blog candy!
Well, you have to let Mr. Nasty win once in a while…the end result sure were worth it! Love this layout!
Sandi
Laurie beat me to it, but the page should say 2009 not 2010. But they are such cute pups.
Janb
Not all projects are created in 10 minutes. LOL! I so admire what you can accomplish in 10 minutes. Greta page no matter what the time was!
Your layout is great. I would never attempt a layout in 20 min., much less 10 minutes. TFS
Oh Sandi! Love, love, love your little puppies and the page is fantastic!
Love your page and your subjects. Great job!
“LUCY! You got some splaining to do!!”
Ahh, the old days of I Love Lucy. LOVING this adorable page of your two fur babies. Adorable.
Ten minutes, wow! I doubt that I could have made this page in such little time. The layout is so cute.
this is a fab page-love that snowflake punch-and your babies look so innocent-LOL-they are aren’t they?
Sandi, Great page, simple and clean, but very inviting. I hope you do this more often as I have tons to catch up on. This is the only chance I have to inspire me.
Thanks for sharing.
BJ
I love the page, and you sure have some cute babies, I scrapbook my fur babies too. Thank you for sharing.
Good job Sandy. I have a couple of scrapbook pages that have been in the works for several years now. Ever since my daughter’s were into Mud bogging with their pickups!!!!! LOL That was lots of fun.
Such cute puppies!!!!
Thanks for the opportunity to win something great!!!
Dorothy E
smashing!
Cute dogs, they look like they get along very well. I’ve enjoyed reading your blog and seeing your art. Thanks….
I too also enjoy reading your blog. Your page came out great and those puppies are adorable. Can’t believe you did it in such a short time. Thanks for sharing and the chance to win some goodies.
My goodness woman, you must fly around your home going faster than the wind! I can’t believe all the stuff you can get done in one day!
Love that photo of your new family members. Boy their eyes are so expressive! Looks like they have quite the personalities. When you write about your new pups – it is very much similar to escapades with my two little kitties!
The joys of motherhood!
I’m so jealous! It takes me days to do a scrapbook page – which is why I don’t scrap, LOL. Great page though. I would never have guessed it only took you 10 minutes.
A scrapbook page… something new I haven’t seen much of from your blog… and those little faces are so sweet… Such a cute page, too. Once a month is a good idea so you can finish their book, but I know you don’t need a challenge to get that done. You get more done than anyone I know! See you tomorrow… it’ Asian day!!! YAY!!
beautiful page…in ten minutes… that is just amazing…
aahh, cute, cute, cute! the pups are adorable and the layout is darling, love the way you pulled in the diagonala for the photo and mat. Jan
