Howdy and welcome back. I had a few minutes before class on Saturday to whip up a quick card.
I have had the stamp set WICKED COOL sitting on my side table, page 23, #118738 $19.95 or #120600 $14.95 clear mount, along with the awesome designer paper WICKED FUN SPECIALTY, page 172, #117400 $11.95
and look what happened.
The designer paper is flocked, so you can pet all those little bats, tee hee….but of course, I had to bling them up a little
I decided these red eyes might be fun. and that is green paint under my thumb nail, not dirt, just in case you are going to make a comment, lOL…painting those clocks while I was making this card….and wait till you see the green one!
I put the top 3 layers together before I put the eyes on
as they are brads so putting them through 3 sheets of paper made them good and sturdy
for my saying on the top I used a couple of punches, the 2-3/8 SCALLOP CIRCLE, page 201, #118874 $16.96
and the 1-3/4 CIRCLE PUNCH, page 203 #119850 $16.96. alas, this bored me! (there's a shock – right?)
so I got out my hole punch and whacked them up a little, now it looks a little more GOOLISH don't you think?
added some ink to give it some depth. The yellow is Daffodil Delight, the orange is Pumpkin Pie
HOLY NEW PUNCHES BATMAN! tee hee, this is the new BITTY BAT PUNCH, page 201, #119279 $15.95, but he didn't have any eyes either – and I decided to bling up his body.
Can you tell with the color renovation I have a few retired rhinestone brads kicking around, tee hee…I'm to "thrifty" to throw them out, so I'm using them up.
Card base is Basic Black, 8 x 9
Pear pizzazz mat is 3-7/8 x 8-7/8
Pumpkin Pie mat is 3-3/4 x 8-3/4
piece of designer paper is 3-5/8 x 8-5/8
there you go, my first Halloween card of the season, but not my last, come on back tomorrow, I think the Wicked Witch is in BIG trouble!
Happy stamping my friends, remember, if you need stamping supplies, you can get them
and remember while you are in there, check out
it is the 3rd item in the left side column.
